Susan has been a studio potter for over 40 years. Her studio is in her home near Woodland Park, Colorado. The natural world is a great source of inspiration for her pottery. It is in that space that she connects with her surroundings and incorporates inner peace into her work.
Susan says "I make pottery for people to use and enjoy. I think of myself as a potter/artisan, crafting utilitarian and decorative stoneware and porcelain. I love to spend time preparing food in my own kitchen for family and friends, and I'm sure that's the reason the focus of my work is mainly on pieces that can be used in the home."
All her work is lead-free and is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Items include Christmas ornaments, votives, pitches and bowls of all sizes, berry bowls, pie plates, soup bowls, servings plates, honey pots, sugar and creamer sets, vases and baking dishes of all kinds. Prices range from $12 to $56.
